These terms cover your use of the DropScouts website, our Discord server, and our alerts. By signing up or joining the Discord, you're agreeing to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
DropScouts monitors Canadian retailers for Pokémon and Palworld trading card products and sends alerts when we detect a restock, a new listing, or a price change. Alerts go out through our Discord server and, if you've opted in, by email.
This is the important part. Our monitoring is automated and imperfect. We do not guarantee that:
Always verify price, product, and availability on the retailer's own website before purchasing. Retailers change prices and stock constantly, and listings can be wrong, mispriced, or removed. We are not responsible for what a retailer does.
We don't sell trading cards and we're not party to your purchase. Any transaction is between you and the retailer, under their terms, their pricing, and their returns policy. Problems with an order — payment, shipping, cancellation, refunds — are between you and them.
DropScouts is free. Some links in our alerts, on this site, and in our Discord are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you buy after clicking, at no additional cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate, DropScouts earns from qualifying purchases.
Affiliate arrangements do not influence which restocks we alert on or in what order. We alert on whatever our monitoring finds.
By signing up you give express consent under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation to receive commercial electronic messages from DropScouts. Every message identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
If we introduce text message alerts, they will require a separate express opt-in — email signup alone will never be treated as consent to text you. Where SMS is offered, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance.

Our Discord has its own rules, which you agree to when you enter. In short: be decent, no harassment or hate, no spam or unapproved self-promotion, and keep things on topic. We may remove content or remove members at our discretion, particularly for:
Don't scrape, copy, resell, or redistribute our alerts or data as your own product or service. Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the service. Personal use is what this is for.
Where we describe access as free — including any "founding member" offer — we'll honour what we advertised at the time you signed up. We may introduce paid tiers or additional features in future, and we'll be clear about what changes if we do.
DropScouts is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service — including missed restocks, late or failed alerts, incorrect information, purchases you made or didn't make, or amounts you paid to a retailer.
Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, in which case the above applies to the maximum extent the law allows.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of DropScouts at any time. We may also update these terms; the date at the top reflects the current version, and continuing to use the service means you accept the update.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
