DropScouts ("we", "us") provides free Pokémon and Palworld trading card restock alerts for Canadian retailers. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
When you sign up, you give us express consent under CASL to send you commercial electronic messages. Every email we send identifies DropScouts, includes our contact information, and contains a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and never affects your access to the free Discord alerts.
We may offer text message alerts in future. If we do, we will only text you if you have separately and expressly opted in to receive text messages — signing up by email is not consent to be texted. If you do opt in:
This site uses cookies and similar technologies for a few purposes:
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also opt out of personalised advertising through the tools offered by YourAdChoices Canada and through your account settings on the relevant advertising platform. Blocking cookies may stop parts of this site from working properly.
DropScouts is free to use. Some links we share — in alerts, on this site, and in our Discord — are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy something after clicking, at no extra cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate, DropScouts earns from qualifying purchases.
Affiliate relationships never change which restocks we alert on. We alert on what our monitoring actually finds, in the order it finds it.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run DropScouts, and only so they can provide that service to us:
Some of these providers store or process data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts and authorities in that country. We may also disclose information where required by law.
We keep contact information for as long as you are subscribed, and for a reasonable period afterwards to honour unsubscribe requests and meet record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
Under PIPEDA you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it if it's wrong, or delete it. Email hello@dropscouts.com and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We use reputable providers and take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
DropScouts is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.
If we make significant changes to this policy we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, let subscribers know by email.
